Our Resources
The Children's Society's resources can help you
Disabled young people have assisted The Children's Society in developing a set of resources to aid and facilitate decision-making. The resources are aimed at both disabled young people and the professionals that work with them.
My Life, My Decisions, My Choice Poster and Discussion Card Set
This poster and discussion card set is designed to help disabled young people understand their rights surrounding decision- making and encourages them to explore and communicate their thoughts and feelings on the subject. The information on the discussion cards expands on the ten points given on the poster and outlines how the rights of disabled young people should and can be met. Professionals should use the poster and cards as a discussion tools to help disabled young people prepare for decision-making.
